| Just outside the small town of Ouray, along US 550
toward Red Mountain Pass, is a tiny, north facing box canyon, its
vertical and overhanging flanks only meters apart - perfect contiions
for ice climbing, all the moreso since someone decided to divert a
water main over the cliffs to make a man-made playground where you can
belay from the car. Say what you will about the artifice; this place rocks,
and we've had lots of great times here. This time Kalynn came along
with her video camera, and we had a blast with it.
