People say I'm hard to shop for. If you really want to give me a present, collaborate with me on one of my cockamamie ideas. But if you're intent on buying me something, here are a couple things I'd like to have, but not enough to spend my own money on. Insofar as that's the case, I also don't want to know that anyone else put themselves out disproportionately, either, so if you're rich, buy me something indulgent. But if you're poor, know that I would rather scarce resources went to purposes other than these silly things... And meanwhile, remember that what I really want is help with any of my projects.
Items are roughly in order of preference. Those marked with an "*" I either can't afford, or can't figure out how to obtain, or for some other reason would be particularly appreciative of.
