Mike Burns, Mark Miller, Chris Williams
June 1 - 24, 2003

While in college I took a trip to Korea to visit some relatives, and en route passed over the Alaska Range. Ever since, I've longed to climb among those hugely glaciated and glorious granite peaks, and this past June I finally got my chance, when Mike Burns, Chris Williams, and I flew to Alaska to cimb Mt. McKinley (aka. Denali, 20,320'). We had an excellent time, and a safe and successful climb. Hopefully the pictures and narrative in these pages give an idea of the beauty we encountered, and for those interested in the technical aspects of organizing such a climb we've included some nformation that was of value to us in planning our trip.
